'Staff work with energy, are highly motivated and encourage children to participate fully in a range of engaging activities. At the end of their reception year most children have exceeded the Early Learning Goals'

ISI Inspection Report 2013

At St Neot's we recognise that every child is unique and with a high adult to pupil ratio we are able to ensure all children receive the attention they deserve. Specialist teaching in PE and games, swimming, music, French and IT, as well as regular Forest School sessions in 'The Hive' our Outdoor Learning Environment enhance the curriculum led classroom sessions. Children learn to communicate more effectively; develop an understanding of the written word; begin to formulate letters, words and sentences; learn to count and use simple mathematical concepts in everyday situations and continue to explore, enjoy and appreciate the world around them. Children have their own dedicated outside creative play areas with access to a wide range of hands on equipment, an adventure playground and woodland den building zone. Nutritionally balanced home cooked food is produced in our extensive kitchens and served in the glass fronted dining room overlooking the cricket square. Our fully qualified school nurse is on hand throughout the day to complement our wonderful team.
