‘The Selfish Giant’ teaches Pre Prep a lesson!

The children in Pre Prep had a fantastic time acting out the story of ‘The Selfish Giant’. They were split into two groups, actors and a singing audience. The story taught the children about sharing, being kind and looking after one another. They joined in enthusiastically with songs, rhymes and actions. The children all had so much fun!

Spring Week 3

It has been an exciting return to action on the sporting pitches for the teams of St Neot’s, with fixtures for rugby and netball even taking place on the first day back after the Christmas holidays. We have also had cross country over the last week which has seen some fantastic individual results for some of our pupils.

Harry P and Charlie J both ran in the Southern Cross Country Championships at the weekend. Harry ran a superb race to finish in a brilliant third place against some very stiff competition. We also had the annual St Andrew’s Cross Country on Friday, with Oscar B and Mia F both putting in exceptional performances to finish second. Ellie H also ran very well to come fourth in her race.

When it came to collaborative car building, their experience from DT lessons paid off and the children (and staff) had fun testing the four wheeled creations out in the Stratospheric chamber. The winning teams were presented with Brooklands notebooks and pens as prizes!
