Summer Week 6

Reflecting the hard work the children have been doing this half term, there were lots of certificates awarded by Mrs Henderson in this morning’s assembly. Hugo was awarded for his fantastic presentation on the Eden project, Daisy L for her super cookbook, Amelia F for her holiday work, especially the knitting! Aurelia and Abi received a Head’s Award for a consistently high standard of prep in English and Ollie W for working so hard in French. A certificate also went to Isaac for an amazing presentation on Alcatraz, Wilson for his information poster on Mount Everest, Jack C and Conor C for assisting Middle School with the lighting and sound during the play, and also to Alice O and Thomasin for their help with the programme. Archie G, Michael, Callum and Freddie M were awarded for their superb improvement in maths leading to their CE exams - fantastic effort. Harry Pr. was given two awards, one for a superb newspaper report on the storming of the Bastille and one for impressive effort in maths. Rose and Art were also given a certificate for excellent maths prep.

Summer Week 3


Following some amazing holiday work over Easter, lots of children were given Head’s Awards today. We have looked at diaries, journals, youtube presentations, leaflets, photographs, the list is endless! Head’s Awards were given to Liam, Oliver F, Edward K, Edward H, Daisy J, Julian, Samuel, Harry P and Polly. There is more work for Mrs Henderson to look through this week and I imagine, more awards to follow! Charlotte B also received a Head’s Award for outstanding effort and achievement in English this week.

Spring Week 6

This week’s Citizens of the Week certificates were given to Molly H for her kindness towards others, Olivia R for being polite and always caring for both teachers and pupils, Molly F for being such a supportive friend, Otto for always being so polite and cheery and spreading a positive vibe around the school and to Jack C and Conor C for assisting in maths lessons with the younger students, showing initiative and being a great help.

Class of the Week, for working exceptionally hard with very challenging work, went to Mr Berger-North’s maths class. Everyone produced amazing work on fractions, decimals and percentages - super!

The Team of the Week was distributed among all the Year 6 netballers who have played so well all season.

Spring Week 5

Lots of children were nominated as Citizens of the Week to end our busy half-term. For being kind and helpful around the school, both Libby and Tristan were awarded. Daisy J and Rebecca were commended for looking after Olivia so well while she has a sore knee. Ollie R was given a certificate for showing manners around the school and always setting a good example. Matty was one of the Citizens of the Week for supporting others and building others’ self-esteem. Dylan’s positive attitude meant he is Citizen of the Week along with Ben J for always being so kind to the younger children. Nina is always extremely helpful in the classroom and was given a certificate, as was Thomas B for being so polite and helpful. Harrison was also Citizen of the Week for displaying a selfless attitude and always offering to help carry the games equipment.
